Store Person

Due to continued growth and expansion, we have a number of exciting roles available in a variety of locations.

Store Person required for a well-established and growing civil engineering and construction company, based in Castledermot, Co. Kildare. This is a full-time role with career progression opportunities, for the right candidate.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Experience in stock control
  • A working knowledge of MS Office packages including Excel
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Ability to work methodically and quickly
  • Excellent time management skills and exceptional work ethic
  • Teamwork skills and ability to work independently

Main Responsibilities:

  • Receiving deliveries and checking goods received
  • Liaising with suppliers about deliveries and discrepancies in stock
  • Stock Control – Updating inventory management systems, data entry and paperwork
  • Organising and delivering goods from the store to the department that requires it
  • Timely notification to the procurement manager of any low stock levels or discrepancies
  • Maintain accurate stock issued and returns records for traceability, including materials reconciliation
  • Evaluate materials surplus

Civils Foreman with civil engineering experience required for a well-established and growing civil engineering company based in the Leinster region. This is a full-time role with career progression opportunities, for the right candidate.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience and proven track record as a foreman on civil engineering projects including groundworks, roads, ESB and utilities.
  • Have excellent organisation and communication skills and be willing to work as part of a team.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Supervision of site personnel.
  • Scheduling of all resources to meet programme.
  • Maintain daily and weekly site records.
  • Work in conjunction with the management team.

Site Foreman/Manager (Residential)

Due to continued growth and expansion, we have a number of exciting roles available in a variety of locations.

Site Foreman/Manager with house construction experience, required for a well-established and growing civil engineering and construction company based in the Leinster region. This is a full-time role with career progression opportunities, for the right candidate. The initial project is based in Carlow Town.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Hold a Construction related Trade Qualification/Degree or possess relevant experience.
  • At least 10 years’ experience in house construction and a minimum of 3 years in a Site Foreman/Manager role.
  • Strong technical ability with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Understanding of BCAR requirements would be an advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills with an ability to lead the project and various trades.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining health and safety standards on site.
  • Day-to-day management and coordination of the site.
  • Maintaining daily site records.
  • Liaise with the commercial team in relation to progress and programme.
  • Work closely with our management team in a professional and friendly work environment.

Civils Site Agents

Civils Site Agents

Due to continued growth and expansion, we have a number of exciting roles available in a variety of locations.

Civils Site Agents with utilities experience, required for a long-term framework based in the Munster and South Leinster Regions. This is a full-time role with career progression opportunities, for the right candidate.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 5 years’ experience in utilities within the public domain and a minimum of 3 years’ experience on wastewater networks.
  • Experience in trenchless techniques for in-situ sewer rehabilitation would be beneficial.
  • A knowledge of sewer network surveying would be an advantage.
  • Excellent understanding of gravity sewers and pressurised pipelines.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Management of direct labour, subcontractors, and specialist contractors.
  • Maintaining HSQE standards and compliance.
  • Documenting daily and weekly site records, including progress trackers.
  • Assisting the commercial team in relation to site allocations and records.
  • Site visits to confirm project scope and requirements.

Job Description:

Experienced Groundworkers required for a well-established and growing civil engineering company based in the Leinster region. This is a full-time role with an excellent package for the right candidates.

Minimum Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in groundworks, roads, water, wastewater, ESB and utilities.

Positions Available:

  • Crew Leaders for 2 to 6 person Crews.
  • Finishing and reinstaters.
  • Pipe layers.
  • Traffic management operatives with valid 3 day SLG card.
  • 180º and 360º Excavator Operators. Truck License would be an advantage.

Job Description:

Accounts Payable required for a well-established and growing civil engineering and construction company, based in Castledermot, Co. Kildare. This is a full-time role with career progression opportunities, for the right candidate.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Strong background in accounts and admin duties, with at least 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • A relevant qualification in accounts, finance, business administration or related field would be an advantage.
  • Working knowledge of Revenue Online System (ROS) and C&E.
  • Ability to respond quickly, decisively, and professionally to changing requirements.
  • A desire to continually learn and improve.
  • Proficient in MS Office packages with a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Experience with Big Red Cloud Accounts software would be an advantage.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Creditor accounts reconciliation.
  • Input of Revenue returns on ROS.
  • Prepare weekly/monthly operational reports and support various month end procedures as directed.
  • Post purchase invoices, credit notes and supplier payments on accounts system (BRC).
  • Assist in preparation of weekly payment runs.
  • Corresponding with suppliers in response to enquiries and with other departments within the organisation to resolve queries.
  • To assist with housekeeping duties such as filing, archiving and preparation of documents to ensure Tax and/or Statutory compliance.
  • Duties, responsibilities, and activities may change, or new ones may be assigned in line with business needs.
